We are starting a new unit in Social studies. In this Unit we will learn about our country.

Each student will learn about a different state and they will write a report

*Each child will be assigned a state
*Please review the report rubric with your child to learn what is expected


 **Please send pizza money ($2.00) and item assigned for the Christmas party

Christmas Information 


The Christmas program will take place on December 13th at 7pm in the school gym.
·        Dress:  Simple Christmas colors (red, white, black, checkered)
·        Please make sure that your child arrives at 6:45 pm that day. We need to prepare to perform. We will meet in the classroom. 
·        In addition, please make sure that you pick up your child right after they perform. We will be taking them back to the room or you can tell your child to meet you in the gym and I will walk them over as soon as the other students get picked up.
The class Christmas parties will be on December 20th . We are ordering pizza for the class that day. Each child will need to donate $2 for the pizza. In addition,   I am going to assign your child to bring one additional item. Please make sure that you bring in the item by December 18th

El programa navideño tendrá lugar el 13 de diciembre a las 7 pm en el gimnasio de la escuela. 
·        Vestuario: Simple que incluya colores navideños (rojo, blanco, negro)
·        Por favor, asegúrese de que su hijo llegue a las 6:45 pm de ese día. Tenemos que prepararnos. Nos reuniremos en el salón de clases después de que los estudiantes bailen.  
·        Además, asegúrese de recoger a su hijo/a después de que bajen del escenario. Me los voy a llevar de nuevo a la clase o puede usted decirle a su hijo/a que lo  encuentre en el gimnasio y yo lo acompañare en cuanto  los otros estudiantes sean recogidos.

La fiesta de la clase de Navidad será el 20  de diciembre. Vamos a ordenar pizza ese día. Cada niño/a debe donar $2 para la pizza.  También voy a asignar a su hijo/a que traiga una cosa adicional.  Por favor, asegúrese de traerla más tardar el 18 de diciembre.
