² 9/17—L.A County Fair Field Trip Please make sure that you fill out the permission slip for your child and send the $10 fee.

² Testing begins next week. There will be no homework assigned during that week.

Important Field Trip Reminders

·       Wear your PE shirt (shorts or jeans are allowed)

·       Bring your lunch

o   Bring a backpack to carry your lunch

o   You can also bring money to purchase lunch at the fair

·       Bring a hat and sunscreen

·       Bring water

·       The students will be allowed to buy a souvenir (optional)

*If you are sending money please put it in an envelope and make sure that your child has pockets (or a backpack/purse) to carry it. The children will be responsible for their own money.

Importantes recordatorios de la excursión

·       Lleve su camisa  de PE (shorts o jeans están permitidos)

·       Traiga su almuerzo

o   Lleve una mochila para llevar su almuerzo

o   También puede traer el dinero para comprar el almuerzo en la feria

·       Llevar un sombrero y protector solar

·       Lleve el agua

·       Los estudiantes podrán comprar un recuerdo (opcional)

* Si va a enviar el dinero por favor póngalo en un sobre y asegurarse de que su hijo/a tenga bolsillos (o una mochila / o bolso) para llevarla. Los niños van a ser responsables de su propio dinero

Parent Reminders

The following are very important announcements:

·       There will be no lunch served for the first week of school. Please pack lunch for your child.

·       Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are regular full days. Dismissal at 3:00 pm

Friday will be a minimum day (12:00 pm dismissal)

Please fill out the lunch application and emergency card as soon as possible!

2^nd Grade has P.E every Thursday
