Parent Reminders

*Unfortunately the Ticket to Read program will no longer be available.  Please have your child read every night for 20 minutes to continue practicing their reading skills. In addition, you may visit our class BLOG to check out some reading websites.

Por desgracia, el programa Ticket to Read ya no estará disponible. Por favor, haga que su hijo lea todas las noches durante 20 minutos para continuar con la práctica de sus habilidades de lectura. Además, usted puede visitar nuestro blog de la clase de revisar algunos sitios web de lectura

Dear parents,

This Friday the students will be allowed to pass out Valentine candy or cards to their classmates (it is optional). Please follow the following instructions to make the passing out as easy as possible.

·       There are 35 students in the class (23 girls and 12 boys)

·       Only write on the from  {your child’s name} (DO NOT write each student’s name, it will take too long to pass out and it can be very chaotic)

·       Only candy, cards and goodies such as pencils or erasers (no cupcakes please)

·       NO FREE DRESS (Please wear your full school uniform)

Estimados padres de familia,

Este viernes a los estudiantes se les permitirá pasar caramelos de San Valentín o tarjetas a sus compañeros de clase (que es opcional). Por favor, siga las siguientes instrucciones para hacer el proceso lo más fácil posible.

• Hay 35 estudiantes en la clase (23 niñas y 12 niños)

• Escriba solamente el nombre de su hijo/a  (NO escriba el nombre de cada estudiante, que tomará mucho tiempo para pasar y puede ser muy caótico)

• Sólo los dulces, tarjetas y golosinas, como lápices o gomas de borrar (no pastelitos por favor)

• NO FREE DRESS (Por favor, use su uniforme escolar completo)

² Homework is due every day and it is part of your grade!
